Johnny Ward is an Irish travel blogger and entrepreneur best known as the first person to complete the Ultimate Explorers Grand Slam—visiting every country in the world, reaching both the North and South Poles, and climbing the Seven Summits.
Raised in a single-parent family on welfare in Ireland, Johnny built his career from scratch through his blog OneStep4Ward.com, which now reaches over a million readers each year. Along the way he has completed extreme expeditions including an unsupported row across the Atlantic Ocean and has helped raise over $300,000 for charity.
Johnny now runs expedition-style group adventures around the world and hosts a travel TV show, often sharing the journey with his mother, who continues to explore despite living with Parkinson’s disease.
