Extreme Travel: Everything a Successful Female Traveler Should Know

Caroline and Lucy have been traveling the world for over 15 years. Caroline has visited 118 countries, and Lucy just completed her final 193. Extreme travel is challenging, and females often face unique obstacles that are specific to women travelers. During the session, they will provide actionable tips and advice to tackle the various challenges, while providing a welcoming space for open discussion and questions. They will overview additional topics such as security, finding trustworthy guides, efficient packing, and much more.  They’ve even compiled a list of their most difficult destinations to visit, and how to navigate them.


BIO

Lucy Hsu, an educator from California, strives to be a balanced extreme traveler. In her 20 years of globetrotting, she has visited the 7 continents and all 193 UN countries. Considered a jack-of-many-trades, she combines her numerous passions with her extensive international travels. Lucy’s oversea experiences vary vastly from training teachers abroad, running marathons, volunteering in medical relief, yoga training, and climbing the highest summits. When not traveling, Lucy maintains a mundane life as a primary school teacher, a crisis counselor, a musician, and best of all – a wife, and a mother of a 6-year old.
